When Pete told me about his
new BadAss RSS software, I was a little
sceptical. He was basically telling me that
he could take a feed from a brand new blog,
insert it into his software with some
relevant tags, and get it indexed in Google
in mere hours.
For me, I needed some proof because, as much
as I value Pete's opinion and honesty, what
he was claiming was just a bit hard to
swallow. So I made a new blog - nothing
fancy really. In a current niche of mine, I
threw up a blogger blog with one article,
took me less than 5 minutes. I then gave
Pete the RSS feed link so he could run it
through his BadAss RSS software. I supplied
him with some keyword phrases to use as
tags, and they all averaged above 1000
searches per day according to NicheBot Word
Tracker predicted daily counts.
He messages me in about 20 minutes time to
tell me that one of the feed sites already
picked up my blog. I verified this on
Google and couldn't believe it. Ok but
that's not the best thing. In less than ONE
hour, I did a search on Google for one of
the keyword phrases I gave him, and my
blog was already indexed! With quotes I
was on page ONE, but it gets better.
Without quotes I was already ranked #11 and
#12! This is for a keyword phrase that
according to wordtracker gets over 1000
searches PER DAY.
Needless to say I'm very excited to get my
hands on this nifty piece of software.
Because there's something else about it that
is very valuable.
With my niche example above I got indexed in
less than an hour. But that's not going to
be the case for any niche. The point is, if
your niche is way too competitive, no
amazing software is going to jump the ranks
of millions of competitors. But that means
that in hardly any time at all, I could use
Bad Ass RSS software to test any number of
niches! For example if a niche I test
doesn't get indexed at all (or is found on
page 10 million!), I know that's way too
competitive. But if a niche gets indexed in
5 hours or so and it's showing on page 3/4
of Google, that might be very doable!
Definitely viable if indexed in less than an
hour and ranked in the top 20!
The power of being able to quickly test any
niche is only one of the fringe benefits of
this software. Pete tells me that the
software does some other "special stuff" but
he wouldn't reveal that to me yet. I can't
wait to get my hands on it!

Here's a
screen shot with my computer time
showing. It says clearly that the site
was indexed 14 hours ago. This is when
my time is 01.40 pm.
Facts:
The site is
http://usdrinkingwatertreatment.com
and is brand new.
Bought the domain some days ago, got the
DNS working yesterday, set up a blog (wordpress
with pinging set to off, to not have any
"competitor"), posted a few posts, took
the rss feed
http://usdrinkingwatertreatment.com/feed
and used ONLY the RSS submitter to
spread the feed with these tags (I'm
unsure how to use tags the best way:
water,drinking water,chlorine,chlorine
free,remove chlorine,filtration
system,tap water,environment,bottled
water,pure water,purifier,water
treatment,drinking)
Started the
RSS submitter at 10.04 pm
At 11.51pm
the first RSS feed (feedage.com) was
indexed in the search engines.
At appr.
11.45 pm the domain
http://usdrinkingwatertreatment.com
was indexed. Though it took some hours
before it was shown in my search
results, and I guess that has to do with
Google spreading the indexed sites from
one server to another (takes time). They
have many more than only one server of
course...
